Hosted in the heart of the West End, The Piano Works’ SingEasy experience puts you at the heart of the show with a sing-a-long extravaganza.
I’m lucky if a Grease megamix comes on in a nightclub, so when I was invited down to The Piano Works for their ‘SingEasy’ event, where you literally spent the evening singing along to show tunes, I was instantly excited. Described as London’s number one sing-along party and dining experience, you literally become part of the performance at this event.

Hosted at The Piano Works, formally known as Studio 88, Sing Easy is hosted in a separate side room from the main bar. It’s superbly intimate with tables scattered around a piano. Every night comes with a different theme, with Mondays for Musical Theatre Takeover, Tuesday SingEasy Goes Dragand Wednesday SingEasy Goes to the Movies, there really is something for everyone.
Bringing along two of my friends, we had the most unbelievable night. Hosted by Christoper Bartlett-Walford and Steph Parry, with singing waiters too, it really is a musical spectacular. You’re able to suggest what song you want to hear, and the remarkably talented pianist would play your song which would be sang by either hosts or the waiters. With singing along very much encouraged, it turns into a huge ensemble of singing.

The room quickly turned into a massive party, with everyone losing all their inhibitions to sing their hearts out. With everything from Wicked to Dolly Parton, Hairspray to Frozen and so much more. A particular highlight was when the whole room got up to sing all the parts to Les Mis’ One Day More.

There are a multitude of options available, whether you’re looking for a delicious two-course meal, bottomless Prosecco, just drinks or the whole lot. With a superb bar menu complete with sublime cocktails, they have everything you need for an incredible night out.
The waiters really add to the evening, they have tremendous energy and charisma as they really get involved and join in with the audience. Charlie and Scott were both brilliant when we went along as not only did they have phenomenal voices, but they really engaged with the audience.
The whole experience is something really unique and special, it’s perfect for anyone slightly theatrical. With the intimate setting and the mutual love of show tunes, you really do feel part of the show and it’s incredibly interactive. If it’s your dream to sing with West End stars, it is possible right here in a brilliantly relaxed way.
Heaps of fun and ridiculously entertaining, if musical theatre is your thing, there really is no better way to spend your evening than with SingEasy at The Piano Works. It really is the party you didn’t know you needed, I’d go every week if I could.
