Marco Pierre White’s restaurant is known for having the most beautiful views of Birmingham and delectable yet affordable food. Whilst like myself you may have visited Marco’s for their famous cocktails, champagne bar or afternoon tea, they have now launched a deliciously selected pre-theatre menu.

The menu is made up of a collection of lucious food, all chosen to be made and enjoyed within a set amount of time so there is enough time to eat and stroll over to the theatre for the evening show. Not only has it been designed for timing but for enjoyability, the menu consists of hearty but not overly filling food to provide a filling but not too overpowering meal before the theatre.

Priced at £25 for two courses including a glass of prosecco and £5 for an extra course. It is an affordable yet sumptuous meal in a stunning ambience that is bound to give your evening the most magnificent start.

Alongside other bloggers based in Birmingham, I was lucky enough to relish in a delightful evening at the top of The Cube, tasting the flawless food on offer. I had the mackerel to start, a colourful dish bursting with flavour. I fell in love with the lamb, perfectly portioned, it was a luscious piece of meat on the best mash potato I have ever experienced (which I am told is the chef’s secret recipe.) We then delved into the variety of desserts that were the perfect amount of sweetness to end the evening.

Aside from the food, Marco’s in Birmingham is renowned for its sensational atmosphere. Located at the very top of The Cube, the views are simply stunning. An added luxury to the pre-theatre dinner is that you’re able to enjoy the views whilst the sun is still shining and then experience sundown and witness the bright lights of the city, really setting the mood and tone for a splendid night at the theatre.

Marco Pierre White’s really supply something special in terms of a pre-theatre experience, the food is sublime and the atmosphere is utterly indescribable.
